Investigation of the Nature of the Interaction of Me-MeN-(Me,Mo,Al)N Coatings (Where Me = Zr, Ti, or Cr) with a Contact Medium Based on the Ni-Cr System

This paper discusses the results of a study focused on nature interaction Me-MeN-(Me,Mo,Al)N coatings (where Me = zirconium (Zr), titanium (Ti), or chromium (Cr)) with contact medium based Ni-Cr system. The studies were carried out during turning nickel–chromium alloy at different cutting speeds. hardness was found, and their nanostructure phase composition studied. experiments conducted using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), selected area (SAED). According to studies, elevated speeds, highest wear resistance is demonstrated by tools ZrN-based coating, while lower TiN- CrN-based had higher resistance. At detected active formation oxides in coating less coating. No TiN-based patterns cracking also
